Joint Managing Directors of IRG International Realty Group are Ole Jespersen and Maurice Elst. Ole, a Danish lawyer who had spent several years working in London, and Maurice, a Dutch property professional with a degree in business management, launched their property service around a decade ago. From the outset they set themselves apart with their continual quest for excellence, both in the properties they offered and the service they provided. As a testimony to their levels of quality, IRG International Realty Group is proud to be the exclusive affiliate in Portugal of Christie’s Great Estates, a prestigious distinction that opens a world of premium properties and discerning purchasers and access to unique marketing tools and channels for IRG’s clients.
With a mix of ambition and vision, Ole and Maurice looked beyond their Quinta do Lago office in the Algarve to the rest of Portugal and saw the potential of areas that were then untapped. They established an office in Estoril to service the Riviera area including Estoril, Cascais and Sintra in 2003 and from here established a Silver Coast Desk in 2007 to handle such projects as Praia del Rey and Bom Successo. In 2006 IRG also opened an office in London in Kensington Square to have a physical office closer to its many UK and Ireland based clients. This year saw the opening of the new head office and Lisbon city brokerage in the prestigious Avenida da Liberdade in Lisbon as well as the Atlantic Islands office in Funchal on the island of Madeira.
Ole heads the Brokerage division, specialising in the sale of individual prestige properties and estates while Maurice heads the Resort & Development Marketing division, working closely with developers to shape new resorts and developments and handle the sales and marketing to domestic and international markets. With their continual focus on professionalism, service and, above all, quality, IRG International Realty Group are well placed to continue their strong performance and steady growth into the next decade.
