Algarve
The Algarve, on the extreme South of Portugal, was the last territory to be conquered from the Moors in 1292. Traces of the Moorish presence can be found throughout in its architecture.
Today, the Algarve offers its visitors endless hours of sunshine combined with ideal temperatures to better enjoy all it has to offer. Golf, beaches, mountains, nightlife, cultural events, and so much more... it's all here at Europe's doorstep.
